We are looking for individuals, groups, or organizations to ”adopt” portions of the urgent $50,000 total fundraising goal.

What does it mean to adopt the fundraising goal?

• Host an in-person or virtual event, meeting, or auction and donate some of the proceeds to Fathi’s family (Examples: bake sale, webinar, community dinner, art auction, live stream)

• Take on a potion of the goal (example $5,000) and host a mini fundraise with your organization (Example: Student organization can raise funds through social media, tabling, etc. to raise a portion of this goal)

• Any donation over $1,000 by an individual or organization would also be considered an adopter (sponsor) of the fundraising goal.

As a goal adopter, you will receive:

• Recognition and on this website as an official goal adopter (with your consent)

• Official thank you shout on the Friends of Fathi' social media page for your support (with your consent)

*If you wish to remain anonymous , we will refer to you as an anonymous donor.

Adopting this fundraising goal would help provide essential financial support for the emergency needs of Fathi’s family as they are caught in the midst of a massive humanitarian crisis.
